The demise of the Communist Party and the Soviet system was one of the momentous events in modern history.

Rather than producing its own alternatives to American tech giants, the EU has chosen to suffocate existing ones through regulations such as the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Estonia is an inconvenient neighbor for another reason. It’s an uncomfortable reminder to Russians of what could have been. Today, the typical Estonian earns nearly 40 percent more than the typical Russian.
