Dr. Leonard Peikoff, author of Objectivism The Philosophy of Ayn Rand, The Cause of Hiter’s Germany, and many other books, lectures, and courses, discusses the essential features of Viennese operetta, including story, music, philosophic meaning, and the unique integration of this art form: serious values in a fun world. This talk was given live on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel in Newport Beach, California. It was organized by Lisa VanDamme and hosted by the Ayn Rand Institute, originally founded by Leonard Peikoff.

Leonard Peikoff, was a close associate of Ayn Rand for thirty years, and is the foremost authority on her philosophy of Objectivism.

He is author of numerous books and lectures including Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand, The Ominous Parallels: The End of Freedom in America, and The DIM Hypothesis: Why the Lights of the West Are Going Out, that develops an hypothesis explaining the major trends in philosophy, literature, physics, education, and politics throughout Western history.
