What to Do About Obamacare and the Uninsurable? Free Markets and Charity!

We cannot afford to pass legislation again “so that you can find out what’s in it.”

The effect of this law, were it actually enacted, would be the death of the health insurance industry.

For more than a century, government involvement in American medicine has moved in a single direction: more spending, more bureaucrats, and more government power over the most intimate details of our daily lives.

Obamacare is not doing well financially, so more young adults must be coerced into paying excessive insurance premiums to subsidize older participants.

What we need is more freedom and a lot less government.

Laura Hillier did not die because the bone marrow for her transplant was unavailable. She died because hospital beds where the transplant could be done were unavailable.

Instead of debating a free market for medicine versus socialism, we’re reduced to watching Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders fight over Obamacare versus socialism.

The argument that narrowing the income gap between the wealthy and the poor will improve everyone’s health defies facts and logic.

The claim that the vaccine for measles causes autism has been discredited by evidence.

We are all in danger when politicians enforce Big Government Medicine–the primary goal of which is its own health and preservation.

When the FDA calls a news conference to announce approval of a drug, somebody should ask the official how many Americans died from the drug’s not being approved the previous year.

How will Americans escape as Obamacare reduces all care to the response standards of the VA system?

The more Americans figure out that Obamacare has made free—riding safer than ever, the more exchange enrollments will fall, posing a serious threat to Obamacare’s future.
